Plot So Far

The Awakening
ღ After 50 years, the first group of “Heroes” awakens en masse within the Glass Forest. They proceed to wander aimlessly.

The Enchanted Stag Game
ღ Fox proceeds to test the Heroes, not that they are aware. The results are interesting, to say the least.
ღ As a reward, the Heroes find the path to Astor.
ღ An old lady known as “Grandma” is at the entrance of the village to pass out a small, handheld mirror to anyone who crosses in. They are then greeted by the Mirror and a fox.

Fox IC Mirror Post
ღ He proposes more games to be had, since the first one was so much fun.
ღ He also admits that he was not the one who brought them all here, but he was the one that helped them to survive in the coffins.
ღ Sorry about the loss of magic, though.

A Completely Biased Short History of Loria
ღ This is a letter all characters will receive in their inboxes upon arrival in game.
Mitch the Man Witch sort of answers all the questions his letter gave to the Heroes.

A Question of Faith
Part One: Troll in the Everywhere - Some of the Heroes have been tricked into seeing a troll army forming outside of Astor. Do they warn the village or keep quiet?

  • Mitch thinks you're all idiots.

Part Two: Just Die Already So I Can Take Your Stuff - The trolls have split the opinion of the villagers on the presence of the Heroes, but there is more on the horizon. Because now, the Heroes are noticing bandits in the fields. But are they real, or just as much an illusion as the trolls?

Part Three: The Heroes Who Cried Wolf - Because of the previous events that proved to be false, the frightening howls in the forest are ignored by hunters, who are proven to be very wrong. And with the village unprepared for a large scale attack and their fiercest warriors dead, it's time for the Heroes to step up.

ღ Following the successful pushing back of the direwolves, the path to the Draco Mountains opens. This brings in an influx of traders and people that haven't been seen in nearly half a century.

But He Hasn't Got Anything On!
ღ Brother tailors, Fen and Ben, begin to sell their wares in Astor. They're especially interested in designing a one of a kind outfit for these so-called "Heroes".
ღ In the days following, plenty of Heroes experience terrible mood swings, imbalance, and way too much honesty.
Never fear, Granny is here. But are her potions really worth the risk after the amount of troubles magic has given everyone?

    Let's Make a Deal
ღ While not ICly announced, characters are approached by Fox to make deals.
ღ In return for something they want, Fox gets something as well. Seems dubious.

    We Give Thanks
ღ On one hand, most of the villagers really like the Heroes and decide to throw a feast in their honor!
ღ On the other, the families of the dead hunters are still holding a grudge.
Thankfully, the damage was pretty minimal.

    Mitch IC Mirror Post
ღ Just an idea, but he thinks maybe people should scatter outside of Astor.
A few people think it might be a good idea.

    Crackatook
ღ Following a few new people into the village, people begin disappearing. There's also an influx in the rat population.
ღ Turns out people are being turned into toys and the rats are kidnapping them for experiments.
ღ Unable to stay idle during this horrid misuse of magic, Mitch steps in and offers volunteers a chance to save their friends.
    It's a pretty violent rescue.

    Magic Mirror IC Post
ღ After several hiccups the past few months, the Mirror tries to show a few scenes from the past.
    ღ Namely scenes about Fox.
ღ Fox doesn't really appreciate it and shuts down the mirror system for a couple of days for some "rebooting".
ღ Emboldened by the Mirror's rebellion, the Woodsman comes out of hiding to post warning signs.

    Magic Mirror IC Post
ღ Not much longer after the Mirror is up and running, another scene comes through from the past.
ღ The Mirror admits that he is broken and his pieces must be found so that he can work properly.
ღ He also admits that this is the Princess of legend everyone is seeing.

    Mitch Open Log
ღ People seek to get answers from Mitch, but he's kind of being a prick about helping out more.

    Magic Mirror IC Post
ღ Still attempting to break free from Fox's influence, the Mirror shows another recorded memory - this time of Queen Alexandra and her advisor.
ღ Worried about what this might mean, Mitch decided to go to Thim thanks to the Mirror.

    Where True Love Ends
ღ Angry that he is losing control of the Mirror, he decides to punish the Heroes. Without Mitch around, he has very few worries about doing what he wants.
ღ The Mirror is temporarily out of commission.
The stories are played out with hideous effects. Fox's plan to hit the Heroes - and villagers - where it hurts succeeds, to say the least.

    Mirror, Mirror, Everywhere
ღ After a successful venture to Thim, Mitch comes home to chaos - and also turns out the sun. Thankfully, however, he has obtained a Mirror shard.
ღ The Mirror shard means that they can help to wrest power from Fox.
Mitch devises to split people into six groups to find the different shards.
  • Group One is met with success.
  • Group Two is met with success, and they also discover the sleeping form of Prince Reginald.
  • Group Three is met with success.
  • Group Four fails in their attempt to gain the mirror shard, although the rats sustain heavy losses. However, the shard begins to corrupt them further.
  • Group Five fails to obtain the mirror shard and to also stop the Trickster from stealing more children in Levon.
  • Group Six is met with success. They are also successful in getting the upper hand over Fox, who is forced to flee and change forms.
The results are that the Mirror is back! And somewhat more stable, if, you know, crankier.

    Open Fox Log
ღ He reveals his new body as a little girl's.
    ღ Still an asshole, though.

    Player Plot: Trip to Lekk
A few of the players attempt to find Lekk in the mountains.
ღ They are forced to stop their investigation by a pair of very large dragons.
They do, however, discover the ocean.

    Magic Mirror IC Post
ღ Apparently, Richard is really into Reginald.
ღ And Belia has decided that it's not time for the handsome prince to wake up. But very soon...

    The Red Kill Runs Black.
ღ Mitch freaks out while bad things are happening to magic.

You Haven't Been Bit Till A Dragon Does It
Flavia is not particularly happy with people killing her kin.
ღ An enormous amount of dragons and wyvern are seen outside of the mountains.
Richard warns that something bad is coming.
ღ Flavia warns her current favorites - Claudia, Corvo, and Vanessa - that an attack is coming. They warn everyone else.
    Everyone immediately begins to react.
  • Those who can't fight are evacuated to Arativ - Hero and villager alike. They're attacked by the mad rats. The village suffers casualties, but they are - along with the Heroes and Piper - are able to stop the rats.
  • Mitch is convinced to guard the roses. That seems like what the people want the most, for some reason.
  • The others who remain behind are faced with the forced of dragon, wyvern, and Lekkite alike.
  • Despite the horrors of the week, three dragon riders are chosen: Claudia Auditor, Fenris, and Prince Reginald Fairfax, who is woken in time to face off against Flavia.
Despite everything, Astor comes out better for it.

    Reginald IC Mirror Post
ღ Reggie has decided to go to Kerros, with the help of some volunteers.
ღ It's probably their best bet in finding answers.
