Job/Quest Board

In the center of Astor, there is an announcements board, with hard written notes about the upcoming harvest, what areas are dragon infested, and what jobs are available. From time to time, a quest might also be posted for the perusal of any looking to make some quick money.

How will this work? Each month, there will be at least seven posts (more if there is a high demand) with any sort of job a character can take, whether it be solo or in a small group. All you have to do is pick out the job you want, fill out the form below, and that posting is yours for the taking!

Rewards will vary from gold to certain amenities. Currency in Loria works as such: there are bronze bits, silver pieces, and gold sovereigns. 100 bits = 1 silver, 100 silvers = 1 sovereign.

Any postings leftover after a month will recycle into the next. Any jobs that fill up will be striked out for the rest of the month.

Jobs

Tavern Wench
Description: A lovely girl (or boy, they're not picky), who would run orders in the tavern, sweep up, etc.
Number of Characters: Edward Elric, Marco, one spot remaining
Reward: 10 silver/day

The Maid
Description: Exactly what it says. The inn keeper needs a few people to help keep things clean in the rooms, the kitchen, and the boarding house. This includes cooking as well.
Number of Characters: Three
Reward: 10 silver/day

The Hunter
Description: With the death of so many, there is a high demand of people who are good at tracking and hunting.
Number of Characters: Garrett Hawke, Connor, Lara Croft, two positions remaining
Reward: 25 silver/week

Beastly Roses
Description: You know those awful, possibly man-eating roses around the forest and Astor? Seems like they serve a purpose and make the ground fertile. Which means they need to be fed...

Reward: 20 silver/day

Wood is Life
Description: Temporary lodgings must be built, as well as other structures.

Baker's Apprentice
Description: With the loss of the baker and also Peeta, there is a hole to be filled when it comes to supplying the town with baked goods.

Reward: 20 silver/week plus goodies

Trainers Needed
Description: The Council is looking for a good few people who wouldn't mind helping out their villager volunteers with weapons and defense training.

Reward: 25 silver/week

Housing
Description: More people plus a recent dragon attack means there is a desperate need for people to help with housing.
Number of Characters: Edward Kenway, Cloud Strife, eight positions remaining
Reward: 70 silver/week until construction is completed

Quarry
Description: Word is, with the relocation of the dragons following the battle between Astor and Flavia, a place where stone could be mined was found in the Draco Mountains. Villagers from both Levon and Astor are asking for joint help from Heroes to begin this operation (per Claudia's idea and the Council's approval).

Reward: 50 silver/week

Stone Scouting
Description: In order to begin mining, however, one must scout for a suitable place to start.
Number of Characters: Five
Reward: 1 sovereign as a Finder's Fee

Harvesting
Description: Arnie Gardner is in need of a few extra hands to pick the plants that are ready for the harvest now. With the shortage of farmers, this is a particularly important need for the village.
Number of Characters: Three
Reward: 50 silver

Garden Special
Description: On that note, other pieces of land are ready to be planted in and tended. These patches of land would be tended until harvest - which is accelerated by the magic of the roses.

Reward: 40 silver/week

Scouting
Description: The Council has posted this job. Groups of three will take different areas - two Heroes paired with one of their own guards - to take note on any disturbances. Thieves, bandits, trolls, etc. It's better to not be unprepared with another goblin-like invasion.

Reward: 30 silver/week

Got Hops?
Description: Being as there is no alcohol left in Astor, and the traders are charging an arm and a leg for any, Sylvia has put forth a notice for anyone who could help begin making any.

Description: Through rain, through sleet, through snow, through the fire of dragon-scorched earth...

Description: Grandma has asked for the assistance from some lovely Heroes in helping her to acquire the silvery strands from a unicorn's mane. A lot of hairs, actually. Enough to make a wig out of. When asked what she's making a wig of unicorn hairs for, she will simply stare. Just be a dear and get the hairs, will you?

Calypso's profits will be entirely up to you in how she prices things, who will buy from her, setting up trade, etc. The only things I can think of to tell you at this moment will be that she will have to find somewhere to work out of (either purchasing her own business or selling out of home) and will have to obtain her own items. /o/
