You wake up in a glass coffin. The magical forest around you is cast in twilight; calm, peaceful. The only sound interrupting the wind through the trees is that of birds, chirping a song that you almost seem to recognise.

You probably could have done without the dwarf trying to kiss you, though.

In a land ruled by magic, magic has been thrown totally out of balance. The dragons are angry, the witches are confused, and the old lady with the potions keeps giving you funny looks. Your presence here will decide the fate of this kingdom, whether balance is regained, or everything falls back into chaos.

Welcome to Beastly Roses, a panfandom fairytale game set in the ruined land of Loria. It’s not clear how you got here, or even when, but as characters begin to explore this land, they will find there is far more to this story than meets the eye. The forest is full of coffins, and the coffins are full of bodies. The dwarves won’t answer any questions, and nearby villagers only mumble something about queens and curses and – foxes? – before scurrying away. It’s all very exciting, except for one thing – how do you get home again?
